Help Bruce Wiseman Turn Mind Games into a Movie

Hi. I'm Bruce Wiseman and I write under the pen name of John Truman Wolfe.

You might be familiar with my novel, Mind Games. It weaves a fiction story around one of the CIA's most extraordinary covert operations, the actual use of out-of-body psychic spies for military intelligence. Some of their exploits were nothing short of astonishing.

Unlike the wonderful charitable work that GoFundMe supports and makes possible, this is a request for help in turning a highly-regarded, award-winning novel into a major motion picture. There are culture-enhancing aspects to it that make it extremely worthwhile.

(By the way, some have asked about the "Tip" factor that GoFundMe adds in. Just put in $0 as the tip, if you wish not to pay it, or whatever amount you care to.)

The appeal of this project is to movie lovers and art-minded individuals who can see the value of artistic creations and, if I may say, this is a way for you to assist and become associated with a film project that has the potential of greatness due to its quality and eye-opening subject matter.

The standards required to make a high-quality film begin with a screenplay of the highest order. It's the screenplay that inspires a major studio or production company to invest the millions it costs to make an outstanding motion picture.

I have been a writer of suspense novels. It's a profession I have long enjoyed. But that doesn't make me a screenwriter. It's a different art form.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise the necessary funds to employ a professional to do this job.

I have an award-winning screenwriter who has started work on it. He has the qualifications necessary to write a great script and he needs to be paid.

The writing of this screenplay will be months of work, and it won't be finished until it meets the standards required and the screenwriter and I are both happy with it. The intent is to produce a truly great screenplay.

HOW I CAME TO WRITE THE BOOK

It’s an LA kind of spring morning in 1974. The Santa Ana winds have blown the smog out to the Pacific, and the sky is crystal blue.

I'm walking down the street with a business associate when we run into an old acquaintance of his. They talk. My friend introduces me. The guy’s name is Pat.

My friend asks Pat, “What have you been up to lately?” Pat explains quite routinely, as if he is shopping for apples at Whole Foods, that he is working with the CIA doing out-of-body experiments. I am standing there listening, doing everything I can not to shout, “You’re doing WHAT?”

Pat Price, who had been the Police Commissioner of Burbank, was one of the original members of the remote viewing team that worked for the CIA from the '70s until 1995, when the program was closed down (they say).

I followed that program for years after meeting Price, and when I started writing, I spun a fictional story around the actual work the remote viewers were doing for government intelligence at that time.

There is much more I could say but I'll save the rest for later.

By the way, you can see more of my work as an author on Amazon. Just search there for John Truman Wolfe.

(Again, some have asked about the "Tip" factor that GoFundMe adds in. Just put in $0 as the tip, if you wish not to pay it, or whatever amount you care to.)

Thanks in advance for your generous support of this creative endeavor. Your help is very much appreciated. And as the cultural worth of this project emerges, you will be very glad to be part of it.

Sincerely,

Bruce Wiseman
