"Then life happened. Kids started being created, bills had to be paid, and dreams of the stage turned into a reality of hourly wages and 'Yes, boss' conversations. I traded in punchlines for punching in a time clock to pay rent."

"For the last 10 years, I’ve been working all over the country, setting up massive stadium light towers. I spent years giving my time—and my overtime—to make deadlines. But time is precious, and at 50, the door won’t stay open for another 50."
