Hi, my name is Kelly. I’m a full-time mummy by day and a registered veterinary nurse by night. I’m now hoping to add “children’s author” to my list of achievements, as becoming a mum has inspired a kind of storytelling I struggled to find when reading to my own children.

A little backstory about my book…

Christmas has always been my favourite time of year, but it now holds an even deeper meaning for me. My firstborn was born on Christmas Day — a moment that made an already magical season even more special.

When he was just a few months old, I began writing him a story — a Christmas story filled with warmth, love, and a little festive magic. I am so proud of what I created, and now both of my children enjoy this story together.

This book is inspired by the magic of Christmas, the love that makes the season so special, and my lifelong love of animals — all woven into one heartfelt story.

I’m now ready to turn this into a beautifully published children’s picture book. I’ve approached a few publishers and have received offers to fully publish and transform my story into a professional physical book and eBook.

To make this happen, I need help with the initial investment. I am aiming to raise £2,000. The full cost is higher, but every contribution — no matter how small — truly helps.
