Hi, my name is Hannah. I’m a 27 year old mom of two, and just a few days ago my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. I was in a serious car accident that left me with multiple fractures to my pelvis and tailbone, and my sacrum in three places. I am currently still hospitalized, unable to walk, sit up on my own, or complete even the most basic daily tasks. In the coming days, I will be transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation facility where I will have to relearn how to do things I never thought twice about—walking, sitting, standing, and caring for myself. Every movement is painful, and the road ahead is long and uncertain.
Beyond the physical pain, this has been emotionally and mentally overwhelming. This has been truly traumatic. I went from being independent to suddenly needing help with everything. The fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty can feel unbearable at times. On top of all of this, the financial burden is growing quickly. Hospital stays, rehabilitation, physical therapy, medications, medical equipment, and trauma therapy are adding up, and it’s terrifying to think about managing it all while trying to heal.
Any donation—no matter the size—will help relieve some of the stress so I can focus on what matters most: healing my body and rebuilding my life for myself and my children. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this means just as much. Thank you so so much for being part of my recovery and supporting me during the truly hardest time of my life.
