Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your kindness and support.

For the past 5 years, my boyfriend Vincent and I have been living in a small motel room. We pay $450 every week to keep a roof over our heads — and while we are grateful to have a place to sleep, it’s not truly a home. We’ve always dreamed of having a stable, safe place where we can cook in our own kitchen, hang photos on the wall, and finally breathe a little easier.

We both work full-time — I’m a barista, and Vincent is a grill cook. We’re quiet, responsible, and always pay our rent on time. But with the high weekly costs of the motel and the rising cost of living, it’s been impossible to save enough for moving costs, first month’s rent, and a security deposit.

This fundraiser will help us cover:

• Application fees & basic moving costs

• A few essentials to set up our new home
