Hello!
My name is Erik, and I'm 20 years old. I'm riding from Mexico to Canada on horseback: a 3,000-mile journey through the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. With this adventure, I’m raising money for Right To Play. You can follow all my adventures on my social media (links below).
Right To Play is an organization that is dedicated to helping children from tough environments, like areas with war and poverty. They use the power of play to make kids more physically and mentally resilient, and to give them a better education. Every year, they help 5.6 million children in Africa, Canada, and the Middle East.
I have several friends who fled from Syria and told me the most horrible stories about what they went through. That’s why I feel very honored to support Right To Play.
To prepare for the journey, I spent two months in Mongolia, where I trained with nomads to gain the necessary experience for this expedition.
