Our Story

History has been made at Mannofield! Our Aberdeenshire Cricket Club U15s were crowned Scottish Cup Champions for the second year running, qualifying them for the ECB Cup. In the round of 16, they travelled to Kendal, Cumbria, and beat Cumbria region champions Millom Cricket Club to book their place in the last eight.

On Monday 3rd August, the boys head to York to represent Scotland in the Regional Finals. It's a huge achievement, but on short notice, the logistics of a cross-border championship are a real hurdle.

What we're raising for:

Return train travel from Aberdeen to York for the squad and coaches

Hotel accommodation the night before and night of the game, so the boys are rested and ready to compete

Our History :

Aberdeenshire CC is a traditional, member-run club, driven entirely by volunteers - coaches, and parents who do this for the love of the game. Getting here has taken a summer of driving — Dundee, Edinburgh, Perth, and now Kendal — and families have already put in a lot of time and fuel getting the boys this far.

Now we want to take the pressure off them for the final push.

Every donation — the price of a pint, a coffee, a match fee — goes straight toward getting these young champions to York with nothing left to worry about but the cricket.
