 Hey everyone, This is a little hard for me to share, but I’m learning that sometimes asking for help is part of the journey too. Last week, I passed my driving test. After everything the setbacks, the countless lessons I’ve poured money into, the moments I nearly gave up; I finally did it. 

It’s something I’ve been working toward for years, and now that I’ve reached this milestone, I’m filled with a mix of joy, relief, and to be honest, a bit of uncertainty. Not having a license has held me back in more ways than I can count. I’ve been turned down for jobs simply because I couldn’t drive. I’ve missed out on opportunities that could’ve opened new doors. And yet through it all, God has been faithful. He’s walked with me every step of the way, even when the road felt impossibly long. I’m trusting Him now too — with this next part of the journey. 

 Now that I have my license, I’m trying to raise £6,000 to buy a reliable used car and cover insurance, road tax, and the essentials to finally be safe and independent on the road. A car would mean so much more than convenience. It would mean not walking home in the dark after a late shift or getting home at a decent time after shoots, heart pounding. It would mean no more waiting hours for buses that don’t show up. It would mean being able to say yes to jobs, to live without fear of being stranded anywhere or being limited in my journeys. 

It would mean freedom, the kind I’ve fought so hard for. 

 I know £6,000 is a lot. And I know everyone is facing their own battles. But if you can give anything — £1, £5, a share — it would mean more than I could ever put into words. I’ve come this far, and I truly believe God hasn’t brought me here just to leave me. Thank you for reading, for supporting, for standing with me.
