In the October school holidays, Saxon travelled to Brisbane to compete in the National Schools Futsal Tournament as part of one of three teams selected to represent Northern NSW (NNSW) in the Under 9s division.
The competition was tough, with 22 teams from all over Australia competing in the U9s. Saxon’s team gave it everything and made it all the way to the semi-finals, narrowly missing out on the grand final by just 1 goal!
At the end of the tournament, selectors chose the top 10 players from across all 22 teams to form the Australian All Stars Team — and we’re incredibly proud to share that Saxon was one of them!
This amazing achievement means Saxon has been invited to represent Australia in an international Futsal tournament in the Philippines in May 2026.
Now we’re doing what we can to help make this dream a reality!
We’re fundraising to help cover the costs of:
- Saxon’s travel, accommodation, and team expenses
- Getting at least Mum or Dad (hopefully both!) on the tour with him to support and cheer him on
