From LA to Edinburgh: Help Abitha Shine On Stage!

Hi, my name is Abitha, and I’m a senior in college studying Theatre and about to graduate soon! Theatre has been a huge part of my life—it’s where I feel most alive, whether on stage or behind the scenes. Hence, why I am so thrilled to share that I’ve been cast in the Los Angeles Theatre Initiative’s production of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, which will be performed at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but unfortunately, the costs to make it happen are more than I can cover alone. Living in Los Angeles has already been a challenge—balancing rent, emergency expenses, and the ever-rising cost of food has made it tough to get by. On top of that, with graduation around the corner, I’m also trying to afford my ceremonial regalia to mark this important milestone.

That’s why I’m reaching out and humbly asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, would bring me closer to this dream—allowing me to not only perform on an international stage but also celebrate my graduation properly.
