Our family is asking for help during the most difficult time we have ever faced.

My son Billy and his wife Faith recently welcomed their beautiful twin babies far too early at just 31 weeks. What should have been one of the happiest moments of their lives quickly turned into a life-threatening emergency.

Faith developed severe pregnancy complications, including preeclampsia, cholestasis, and HELLP syndrome. These conditions quickly became critical and led to a sudden, massive hemorrhage where she lost nearly half of her blood. Her blood pressure rose to dangerously high levels, putting her at risk for a stroke.

She was rushed into an emergency C-section and immediately admitted to the ICU, fighting for her life.

Even after delivery, the complications continued. Faith’s blood levels would not stabilize, and she was in extreme pain and severely swollen. Doctors performed another emergency surgery and discovered internal bleeding and blood clots in her abdomen. She now has over 100 stitches and remains hospitalized, expected to stay for several more weeks.

Because of how critical her condition has been, Faith has not been able to be with her newborn babies the way any mother should.

Their tiny twins — a baby boy and girl — are fighting their own battles in the NICU. Born weighing just over 4 pounds and 3 pounds, they will need at least 7 weeks of intensive care as their lungs and organs continue to develop.

Their baby boy’s condition has become even more serious. He was recently transferred to a specialized hospital in New York City due to a hole in his lung and complications that are preventing him from keeping fluids down. He is now receiving critical care, and we are praying every day for his strength and recovery. The transfer alone has added even more unexpected medical and travel expenses for the family.

“They are currently receiving critical care in Brooklyn, as they fight through this incredibly difficult time.”

Billy and Faith are both unable to work for the foreseeable future. While they do have insurance, the cost of extended ICU and NICU care is overwhelming, with daily expenses reaching thousands of dollars, along with ongoing medical and living expenses.

If you know Billy, you know how hard he works and how much he cares for others. Billy spent many years cooking and managing Farmer’s Daughters’ Drive In with his mom and two brothers Taylor and Rion.

Faith has worked so hard to build her future as an architect. They are kind, hardworking people who would never ask for help — but right now, they truly need it.

We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for any support you can give — whether that’s a donation, sharing this page, or keeping them and their babies in your prayers.

Thank you for standing with our family during this unimaginable time.

With love and gratitude,
Annette Osher
