From John with Love - Bowling For a Cause

As many of you know, we recently lost my brother John, tragically and unexpectedly. If you knew John, you know he was an avid and amazing bowler who lived his life to the fullest each and every day. As many have stated, John was a one in a million and he is so missed by so many. Carpe Diem was his motto.

We’re hosting a celebration of life/fundraiser in his honor on what would have been his 60th birthday, Saturday, August 2nd. It will be held at Kingstown Bowl from 2:00-4:00.

Some of his friends have contacted me who cannot make the event but wish to make a donation, which is why I am setting up a go fund me page. We will also be accepting donations during the event. All proceeds will go directly towards free bowling lessons/programs for kids. John would have wholeheartedly loved this idea. I also love the idea of helping along some little budding future bowler.

If you can make it to the event, we would love to see you there. Everyone is encouraged to bowl a string or two and try to get a strike. John’s family members will be donating $5 for each strike thrown. Food and drinks will be provided as well.
