Hi everyone , my name is Mattia.
I am a 15 year old high school student from Italy, with a strong passion for science, especially physics, mathematics, and biomedical engineering.
I am fascinated by understanding how things work and how technology can be used to concretely improve people’s lives.
For the past four years, I have lived a very demanding life as a competitive tennis player, training about 20 hours per week with full dedication.
In the little free time I have left, I choose to study intensely and independently, sometimes up to 9 hours a day on weekends, exploring subjects such as Olympiad-level mathematics, physics, biology, programming, and working on small personal projects.
For me, starting from an idea, studying the theory behind it, and then trying to transform it into something real is essential — it is how I grow: without it, my life doesn’t make sense.
At this stage of my life, I am investing everything I have into building the foundations of my future. I am working toward a long-term goal: to study biomedical engineering in the United States, specifically at MIT this is because my dream is to dedicate my life to creating projects that can significantly improve the quality and length of human life, allowing even those with serious illnesses and conditions to live healthier lives and, above all, happier ones.
This campaign represents the first concrete step toward a long-term objective that includes advanced projects, research experience, and studying biomedical engineering at MIT
Any support, even small, directly contributes to my education and ability to keep learning and creating.
Thank you sincerely for your time and for any possible support.
Cattaneo Mattia
