Hi, my name is Dave, I recently graduated from barber school, and I’m working hard to build a better life for my family. Right now, my wife and I, along with our newborn baby boy (just 24 days old), are homeless and living in a hotel. We’ve been here for a year and a half because we simply can’t afford to get out on one income. I pay all the bills monthly but after it’s all said and done I can’t save enough to get us out of here and need a little help. I’m so close to turning things around — I just need to pay $2,000 to finish my barber licensing fees. Once that’s done, I’ll be able to get into a shop and finally start earning a steady income to support my family. This isn’t easy to ask, but I’m reaching out because I want to give my son a better start in life and finally get us out of this hotel.
