My name is Abe I run the MrPuckett page on Imgur. MrPuckett is my 14 year old puppy.
Even though my posts on Imgur (https://imgur.com/user/MrPuckett) get millions of views a week, it was just over a year ago I was sleeping on the street and hoping I wouldn't wake up. Addiction, untreated mental illness, endless psych wards and rehabs. I always ended up back on the street, often with my dog, sometimes without.

Together, with the help of wholesome strangers on Imgur.com, I am putting my redemption story into a book for the first time to give others hope. A book anyone can afford, and if you can't; we are going to get it to you anyway. I have been lucky enough to share my story with millions of people online. From the rock bottoms on the street with my dog to now living what Imgur calls "The King of Wholesome." It has been a wild ride.
We look to help others through topics of self love, random acts of kindness, and reaching out to your fellow human (or animal). Writing a book and getting our full and unedited story out to as many people as possible is a dream. This book will share my experience, strength and hope through my journey of a pleasant upbringing, a hellish decade of addiction and homelessness, and my personal road to redemption.
The idea in creating a GoFundMe instead of a Kickstarter is to raise enough funds to make this book available to anyone who needs it. It'll be sold and marketed as any other self-published book. When I needed encouragement the most, I sure as h*ck couldn't afford spending $20 on it. And if you're struggling, it is going to go out to you for free.
All I needed when I was living on the street was to have just one reason to keep going. Here is my attempt to give that reason to as many people as I can.
