Hi, I’m Freka, the founder of Freka Sauce brand that started in survival mode and turned into my purpose.

There was a time 5 years ago when I had no stable home from being a Domestic Violence victim. My daughters and I were moving between hotels, Airbnbs, and sometimes just trying to make it through the night. I didn’t have a kitchen of my own, so I borrowed others’ just to cook. I’d hustle up plates and jars of sauce, sell them, and use that money to pay for somewhere safe to sleep. I even rented U-Haul vans to cooked in them, sold from them, and slept in them too.

But I never gave up.

I kept showing up, even when I had nothing but ingredients, a burner, and a dream. Actuality is God, this brand and these garlic sauces carried me. They became the reason people kept coming back, spreading the word, and showing love. Now, I have customers across Cincinnati who believe in the flavor and the fire behind this brand.

And now I’m ready for the next step: a food trailer.

This trailer will give me a safe, stable space to cook and serve full meals featuring all of my sauces. It’ll be mobile, so I can go where the people are which are events, festivals, and communities all across the city. I want to build something that feeds people’s bellies with love and inspires with love in their hearts.
