My name is Brandy, and I’m a longtime friend of Lisa Fralick — an incredible single mom and the proud mother of Olympic figure skater Trennt Michaud, who is local to the Quinte area. I created this fundraiser because I want nothing more than to see Lisa get to the Olympics to support her son. All funds raised will go directly to Lisa to help cover her travel expenses.

Behind every Olympic athlete is a story of sacrifice, love, and unwavering belief — and this one is no different. From the very beginning, Lisa gave everything she had to help her son chase what once seemed like an impossible dream.

From early mornings at the rink to long drives, tight budgets, and countless sacrifices, Lisa raised a figure skater who never gave up. She worked tirelessly, put her own needs aside, and stood by Trennt through injuries, setbacks, and moments when quitting would have been easier. Her faith in him never wavered, even when the odds did.

Now, that dream has become reality. Trennt Michaud has earned his place on the Olympic stage — a moment years in the making and a huge point of pride for the Quinte community.

After years of giving so much, the cost of travel, lodging, and tickets makes it difficult for Lisa to be there in person. She deserves to witness this once-in-a-lifetime moment, to see the result of every sacrifice, and to cheer her son on from the stands as he represents his country and fulfills his lifelong dream.

Any contribution, big or small, will help make sure Lisa is in the stands, cheering for the athlete she raised and the dream she helped build.
