From Her First Breath, She Fought — Now Jordynn Needs a Kidney and needs us to fight with her.

Before Jordynn ever entered this world, her journey had already begun.

During pregnancy, doctors discovered complications. The unknowns were overwhelming. The odds were frightening. But from the very beginning, Jordynn was different — she was a fighter.

When she was born, she faced multiple life-threatening challenges, including Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) — a condition that made even taking her first breath a battle. While most babies cry when they’re born, Jordynn fought.

And she hasn’t stopped fighting since.

As doctors searched for answers, they discovered something extraordinarily rare. Jordan carries a super mutation involving Frazier syndrome and Wilms tumor, linked to a genetic overlap in her DNA sequence. She is only the second documented person in the world known to have this specific mutation.

But the first heartbeat that made her family whole. She is the first grandchild, the first daughter — the heart of their world and the light that changed everything.

Through surgeries, hospital stays, scans, treatments, and conversations no child should ever have to endure, Jordynn has shown a strength that humbles everyone around her. Her mom often says the medical team placed in their lives were “angels on earth.” And truly —Jordynn must be something special to be so deeply surrounded and protected by them.

Now, at just 15 years old, Jordynn faces her next battle: she needs a kidney transplant.

Her situation is now urgent.

On March 18, 2026, her transplant team will move her to Status 1 and officially place her on the national kidney transplant list — making her eligible for both a living or deceased donor kidney.

But she cannot fight this battle alone anymore.

Despite everything she has endured, Jordynn doesn’t want her story to be one of limitation — she wants it to be one of empowerment. She wants other children and families walking through medical storms to know:
