From Helping Hands to Healing Hands – Let’s Support Them!

Hi everyone! I’m reaching out on behalf of two of the most generous, selfless people I know—my best friend Shakira and her husband, Frank. They’re the kind of couple who always show up for others, no matter what. Whether it's helping a neighbor, taking care of family, or supporting their friends, they never hesitate to lend a hand. Now, they need our help.

Recently, Frank was seriously injured at work. He suffered a bad leg injury and has been told he needs to stay home to heal for the next 4 to 6 weeks. He'll be seeing an orthopedic specialist soon to determine if surgery is needed. The recovery process is tough, and he’s in a lot of pain. On top of that, he can’t walk or do basic tasks without help. Shakira has had to step away from work temporarily to care for him and manage everything at home. Her sons Luke and Hudson have stepped in to help too! But there's so much to manage between meals, medication management, yard care, etc. If you know Shakira, you know she can jump in and get things done. She's not going to ask for help and she's going to try and do it all on her own. But, this time they need some support!

As you can imagine, the sudden loss of income and unexpected medical needs have put a huge financial strain on their family. They would never ask for help themselves, which is why I’m asking for them. Any support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or even just a kind word—would mean the world to them.

They’ve given so much to their community, friends, and family. Let’s show them the same love and support during this difficult time.
