From Heartbreak to Hope—Rebuilding After the Flood

Donation protected
As I sit here thinking about all the memories tied to this property, my heart is heavy. This land has been home to my in-laws for many years—a place they worked tirelessly to care for after moving here with their two young boys to give them space to grow.

Over time, it became more than just a home. It was a place full of love, laughter, and family. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law also lived on the property and, like my in-laws, lost many of their personal belongings in the recent devastating flood that hit Bullitt County.

The flood forced them all to evacuate, and sadly, my in-laws’ home was destroyed. So much has been lost, both physically and emotionally.

If you’re able to donate in any way, we are truly grateful. And even if you can only share this post, it means more than you know. Thank you for your support.
