Dear Friends & Supporters,
I’m humbled and beyond excited to share some incredible news. I’ve been selected to showcase my artwork at the Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) at the Glass House in New York City, happening February 2026.
As a self-taught artist, this moment is incredibly meaningful. Art has always been more than paint on canvas for me; it’s been my sanctuary. I began creating as a way to escape the challenges of growing up with a kidney disease, navigating pain, isolation, and eventually two life-saving kidney transplant surgeries. Art gave me light in my darkest moments. It became my voice when words felt too heavy.
Now, I’ve been offered the chance to share that voice with the world, and I need your support to make it happen.
I'm raising $5,000 to cover the exhibitor fee for HFAS. This includes a 10x10 booth space, table, chairs, and the materials needed to present my work professionally. This is not just an art show — it's one of the nation’s most prestigious platforms for Black and multicultural artists. The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) brings together art lovers, collectors, creatives, and visionaries in a vibrant, gallery-style setting filled with bold expression and meaningful stories. Over 100 Artist from all over the globe will be in attendance. To stand among them is a huge honor, and a huge leap for my career.
If my story or my art has ever touched you, I’m asking for your help. Whether it's $5 or $500, every single contribution helps bring me closer to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The deadline is August 31, 2025
Thank you for seeing me, for supporting me, and for helping me turn a journey of healing into one of celebration and purpose.
With love and gratitude,
Brianna Woodard
