From Grief to Hope: After losing my mom and becoming a mom
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I am reaching out during the most challenging season of my life. On May 12th, I lost my mom to cancer. Just one month later, on June 23rd, I gave birth to my first son. What should have been the happiest time of my life was and is the most heartbreaking. Although her family covered the cost of her cremation, the hardship that followed has been overwhelming. My mom left behind no will, no life insurance, and the only thing I received was her old car, which still needs repairs before I can sell it.
I am a single mother with no support from my son’s father, my own father, or her family. I never had the chance to grieve or take a proper maternity leave. Instead, I returned to work as a bottle server just three weeks postpartum to provide for my son. Now that my baby is 2 months old, I am working hard to secure a full-time job and create stability for us. But my car — my only way to get to work and care for my baby — is in the shop, and the repair costs have completely drained me. Without it, I cannot work and provide.
I am eternally grateful for my friends and few family members during this difficult time who have been here for my son and I and helping in every way that they can. I am doing everything I can to stay strong and keep my faith, but the truth is, it is truly being tested. If you are able to help in any way, please know that no donation is too small — If you cannot give, I ask that you please share my story and keep us in your prayers.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support during this time. ❤️
