From Grief to Greens: Andrew's Journey

Hi, I’m Andrew Morris, a passionate golfer with a dream of earning my PGA Tour card. My journey to this point has been far from ordinary—it’s been filled with challenges, resilience, and unwavering dedication.

I fell in love with golf at the age of 5, learning the game alongside my father, who inspired me to work hard and chase my dreams. As a collegiate golfer at Fairleigh Dickinson University, I tasted victory with my first-ever win at Daytona, but soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly ended my season. Just as I was ready to return, life dealt me another blow: my father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I put my clubs down to care for him full-time until his passing in March 2022.

Golf remained in my heart, but getting back into competitive shape was a long, difficult road. In 2023, I returned to the amateur circuit and reignited my career by winning the Florida Amateur Match Play Championship and competing in prestigious events all over the state of Florida. Now, in 2025, I’m pursuing the dream of playing professionally through Monday qualifiers, Korn Ferry events, and ultimately Q-School.
