My name is Stephanie, and I’m raising funds to support three newly accepted nurse practitioner residents who are relocating to begin a full-time, paid training program. While the program provides a modest income, it doesn’t cover relocation expenses—and these are individuals who have just completed years of school, paid out of pocket for costly licenses, and are now uprooting their lives, many with families in tow, to dedicate themselves to caring for others.
They’re not asking for handouts—they’re showing up with purpose. But purpose alone doesn’t pay for moving trucks, deposits, or groceries for the first month. I remember what it felt like to be at that starting line—driven, hopeful, and broke. If you’ve ever been there too, you understand how far even $20 can go when someone believes in you.
Please consider giving what you can to help these future providers start this chapter with a little less weight on their shoulders. Your generosity will ripple forward in ways you can’t imagine.
