We are calling on our friends and family to help us recover from losing our apartment in a fire. We're doing ok, but we are still displaced and bouncing around between friends' houses. We're also in the midst of a legal battle with the apartment company, JRK, for trying to push us into a corner while we're in this tough situation by saying we have to stay on our lease although we lost our apartment and they won't have the same style unit to move us into until June. As you all could imagine, having to deal with all of this while living out of our Jeep from guest bed to couch around Denver is making it difficult to work and maintain a steady income. It's difficult to estimate our total losses and newly incurred expenses from the fire, but we know that if we're going to turn this tough time around swiftly, we're going to need the support of loved ones.
We are hoping to get into a home or apartment and we'd like to make that happen by June 1 at the latest. Any and all donations will go towards us getting into a new place and replacing the furniture and items lost in the fire.
PLEASE DON'T FEEL PRESSURE to donate at all, especially if things are tight for you financially. Sending love, prayers, and checking in on us is enough to let us know you love us.
