My name is MOHAMMED N A ABUIWAILI, and I am writing this from Gaza.

I graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Medicine, where I dedicated myself to science and helping others through healthcare. Like many students, I dreamed of continuing my education and using it to make a meaningful difference.

Then, The Genocide changed everything.

For months, I witnessed my community endure unimaginable suffering. Hospitals struggled to function, families were displaced, and humanitarian organizations became a lifeline for countless people. Living through these experiences reshaped my aspirations.

Rather than only working in healthcare, I want to help improve how humanitarian responses are planned, coordinated, and delivered during crises.

That dream has become possible.

I have been accepted into the Master's in Humanitarian Action at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, one of the world's leading universities. Even more incredibly, UCD has generously awarded me a full tuition scholarship, recognizing my academic potential and commitment to humanitarian work.

Receiving this offer is an extraordinary opportunity, but accepting it comes with costs that the scholarship cannot cover.

To obtain my Irish student visa and begin my studies, I must demonstrate that I can support myself during my first year in Ireland.

I need to raise €25,000 to cover the essential living expenses required for my studies:

Campus accommodation: €12,820

Living stipend (€800 × 12 months): €9,600

✈️ Travel and relocation: €1,680

Laptop for my studies: €600

Irish Residence Permit and related costs: €300
