We are raising funds to help save and rebuild a sacred piece of history, Clinton Chapel Church.

This small, over 200-year-old chapel in Clinton, North Carolina, is more than just a building. It’s a spiritual home, a historical landmark, and the heart of a devoted community that has stood the test of time. I was raised within these walls. I’ve seen firsthand how this little white church has carried generations through worship, grief, joy, and resilience.

Our congregation has always been small, but what we lack in numbers, we make up for in faith, love, and commitment. This chapel has been kept alive through the dedication of families who have poured their time, resources, and prayers into its preservation, often with little recognition or outside support.

Now, the structure is in critical condition. It’s no longer safe for services, and we’re at risk of losing this historical gem if immediate steps aren’t taken to demolish the unsafe portions and rebuild. This isn’t just about saving a church; it’s about honoring our ancestors, preserving local Black history, and continuing a legacy of hope for future generations.
