From Flooded Floors to Open Doors — Help Snackateria Reopen

In early December, our Oak Cliff shop flooded. What first appeared manageable quickly became devastating — severe plumbing damage, unsafe floors, and mold made it impossible to operate safely under Dallas health codes.
Because the damage was structural, we had no choice but to shut down — just days before Christmas — and make the heartbreaking decision to let go of our part-time staff.
This shop has always been more than a business. It’s been a safe place for students from Townview and nearby schools, a neighborhood stop, and a small corner of joy for families in Oak Cliff. While losing it has been painful, we believe this is a turning point — and we’re committed to coming back stronger.
Your support will help us:
- Secure a new, safe location
- Replace equipment and inventory lost to the flood
- Cover build-out, permits, and reopening costs
- Bring jobs back to our team
Every contribution and share helps us reopen our doors and continue serving the community we love.
With gratitude,
Polla & Pollo
P.S. Lola the Llama misses her friends — and with your help, we’ll reopen the doors and welcome you back very soon
