My name is Dr. Joseph Charles. I am a surgeon and one of the founding members of CAMEJO HOSPITAL in Léogâne, Haiti.
On September 3rd, 2025, a devastating fire broke out at the hospital, destroying a generator and a warehouse. This tragic event has put at risk our ability to deliver essential and life-saving care to the population we serve.
Through this fundraiser, we are seeking support to replace the damaged generator with a more reliable solar energy system. This sustainable solution will ensure that CAMEJO HOSPITAL can continue providing high-quality care without interruption to the people of Léogâne and surrounding communities.
