I’m starting this fundraiser to help me get through a really important transition in my life. I recently accepted an offer to become a Lead French Teacher at Saint Louis Language Immersion School, and I truly couldn’t be more excited.

This opportunity means so much to me : it’s the beginning of my career in the United States, something I’ve been hoping for since I started my journey here.

What I love most about living here is the people, the culture, and the incredible diversity you find even in the food!

My current internship at Evansdale, in Georgia, helped me realize how much I love living here and how strongly I want to build my future in this country. Being able to stay and grow here is a dream come true.

As I transition from my current position to another, I’m facing a short period without income because I will not be authorized to work, and I will only receive my first paycheck in mid-August.

I am launching this fundraiser because all this means that I need to cover my everyday living expenses this summer, on top of the costs of moving and getting settled. These expenses include security deposit, first month’s rent, moving costs, and everyday living expenses until my first paycheck.

This opportunity is incredibly exciting for me, and I feel so grateful to be able to take this step. Any support, no matter how small, would truly mean a lot. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would already help me so much. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

Je lance cette cagnotte pour m’aider à traverser une transition importante dans ma vie. J’ai récemment accepté un poste de professeure de français à la Saint Louis Language Immersion School, ce qui m’enthousiasme et me rend vraiment heureuse.

Cette opportunité compte énormément pour moi : c’est le début de ma carrière aux États-Unis, quelque chose auquel je pense depuis le début de mon aventure ici.

Ce qui me touche le plus ici, c’est les gens, la culture et l’incroyable diversité qu’on retrouve jusque dans la cuisine !

Mon stage actuel à Evansdale, en Géorgie, m’a permis de réaliser à quel point j’aime vivre ici et à quel point je souhaite construire une partie de mon avenir dans ce pays. En effet, pouvoir rester et m’épanouir ici est un rêve qui devient réalité.

En passant de mon poste actuel à un autre, je traverse une courte période sans revenus (pas le droit de travailler), et je ne recevrai mon premier salaire qu’à la mi-août.

Je lance cette campagne de donc car je dois couvrir mes dépenses quotidiennes cet été, en plus des frais de déménagement et d’installation. Ces dépenses comprennent le dépôt d’une caution, le premier mois de loyer, les frais de déménagement, ainsi que mes dépenses courantes jusqu’à mon premier salaire.

Cette opportunité est incroyable et je suis tellement reconnaissante de pouvoir franchir cette étape.
