Hi, my name is Naquan Dodd and I’m an EMT working in New York City. Every day, I have the honor of showing up for people in their most vulnerable moments. It’s a job that demands heart, resilience, and compassion—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

But my dream doesn’t stop here. I’m working hard toward becoming a paramedic so I can offer even more critical care to those who need it most. Paramedic school is a big step forward, but the cost is more than I can manage on my own while continuing to work full time as an EMT.
