Hi! I’m Ginny — a graduate PhD student balancing research, classes, and the everyday chaos of student life… with my best friend, Little Dumpster. He’s a sweet, mischievous cat who stumbled into my life and completely stole my heart.

Little Dumpster is a two-year-old black cat with short legs and a big heart. I adopted him after he was found near a dumpster, and he’s been stealing hearts ever since! He’s smart (he can spin for treats!), loves people, seafood, and any toy he can get his paws on.

Recently, Little Dumpster was diagnosed with entropion, a painful condition that causes his eyelids to roll inward, making his lashes constantly rub against his eyes. To fix this and prevent permanent damage, he needs a lateral canthoplasty and a Hotz-Celsus procedure on both eyelids. It will cost around $3,000 for the surgery.

As a full-time student, covering the full cost of this surgery is difficult. I’m hoping to raise 50% of the funds needed so Little Dumpster can finally live his life happy, comfortable, and pain-free so he can enjoy chasing toys and basking in the sun without eye discomfort!
