Xavier is 15 years old, 6’3, straight A-student that has finally found his passion in volleyball. Since moving to California, he has fallen in love with a sport that rarely sees young men of color, not because they lack talent, but because the financial burden keeps so many families out. Xavier is the only Black boy on his team, and I want him to know he belongs on that court.
As a family of 4 with one-income, we’ve stretched as far as we could, but trying to secure $3,500 in 7 days is WILD. Nonetheless, it would break my heart to watch my son’s dream slip away simply because I couldn’t afford it. I am humbly asking for help so Xavier can keep chasing his passion, smiling with joy on the court, and showing what’s possible for other young men like him.
No amount is too small. Your support is not just helping a boy play volleyball—it’s helping him carry a dream that represents so much more.
Please Note: The $4500 does not cover hotel, travel, parking, nor spectator’s fees.
