“From Creek to Community: A Small Bus for Big Adventures”

In the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne, lies a small community school with a big heart!

Fernbrook School came to be, because a small group of passionate people held a common belief. We observed from experience, that the ways children learn are many and varied.

Children need to move, play and explore. They need to feel a connection to people, to place and to what they are learning.

At Fernbrook, our students are curious explorers, creators, and big thinkers.

We’re fundraising for a mini bus to take our students on more learning adventures and to assist families with school drop-offs and pick-ups.

Our educators are dedicated to creating hands-on learning experiences and the addition of a school bus will expand these opportunities, allowing us to travel beyond the classroom and demonstrate that meaningful education can happen anywhere.
