From Covid to Cancer Help Aimee
Donation protected
If you are lucky, you have a friend like Aimee Novaton. She is kind, sweet, fun, loyal, and always your biggest fan when you need her. Whether it is her exciting bucket list plans or her up-for-any-adventure attitude, she’s always a joy to share time with and have as a friend.
When I learned that she was diagnosed with cancer, I was heartbroken. I know that Aimee is not one to ask for help, so I am asking for her with the help of some friends.
Cancer is devastating with insurance let alone without it. As any freelancer knows, it's hard and even harder during a pandemic to keep up with all that needs to be done. With so many people out of work, Aimee has been trying to work as much as possible to save money for her surgery and recovery.
Aimee's plan was to have surgery to remove her thyroid late last year, but that plan was thwarted in December 2020 when she was diagnosed with Covid-19. This had made a difficult year even more unbearable, led to the surgery being postponed, and has put Aimee in dire need of financial assistance. We may not be able to be physically close to her, but we can help her get through it.
Her new surgery date is February 8th. She is scared, nervous, and feeling a variety of ways about the surgery and what her life will look like afterwards. Please help us raise some funds to get Aimee back on her feet.
Donations will go toward her recovery, medical bills, ongoing treatment, and transportation (since her car needs repairs).
