Dear PWD team,
I’m reaching out to share an exciting goal—and to ask for your support in making a proper dressage court a reality at our barn.
As you know, a defined dressage court isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential for anyone wanting to train accurately, prepare for tests, or improve precision and consistency. Right now, we’re working with guesswork for our corners, letters, and spacing. A real court would allow us to practice exactly the way we compete.
What We’re Planning:
We’re looking to purchase and install a regulation-sized dressage court (20x60m), complete with proper markers and rails. This setup is portable, safe, and easy to maintain, and it would serve all levels of riders—from casual schooling to show prep. We’ve priced out a few options, and a quality court costs around $4500. If we split the cost among our riding group, it becomes much more approachable.
Why It’s Worth It:
Accurate training = better results for tests and lessons
Shared resource = benefits everyone who rides here
Professional setup = improves clinics and helps riders progress
Portable = can be moved or stored as needed
How You Can Help:
If each of us contributes, we can get this court ordered and installed quickly. Once ordered, it can be here within three weeks.
Let’s work together to create a more effective training space!
Thanks for your consideration and happy riding!!
Kacy
