From College to Culture: Support My Art Journey

Hi, my name is Avery, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help in making a lifelong dream of mine come true. I’ve always been passionate about art and education, and now I have an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Italy and Austria. The program begins in Rome, takes me to Florence, and concludes in Vienna. These are three cities overflowing with art history and culture, and the thought of experiencing them in person makes me feel like I might burst from excitement!

Since my time in college, I’ve been fortunate enough to take two art history classes, where I absorbed every detail. But I know there’s so much more to learn that this program can offer, and nothing compares to seeing these masterpieces in their original settings.

Growing up with a single mom who worked tirelessly to help support me through college, international travel has never been financially possible. Despite the challenges, my mom instilled in me the importance of chasing my passions, and art has always been my greatest love.

As someone of Italian descent, this trip holds a special meaning for me. It’s not just about studying art history; it’s about connecting with my roots, immersing myself in the culture of my heritage, and seeing firsthand where so much of the art I’ve studied comes to life.

This opportunity is truly once in a lifetime, but the costs of travel, accommodations, and program fees are beyond my reach. That’s why I’m turning to you for support.
