It pains me deeply to reach out to friends for money, but I am homeless and have no other options. I have been staying at the Presbyterian Men's Shelter since November 15 and am trying to find work and housing. Their process can take up to a year. I lost my teaching job at Waco High School at the end of May due to complications finishing my full teaching certification. I applied for other jobs in the months since, but had no success. Family helped as much as they were able, but couldn't do any more. I badly want to get back on my feet so I can help others. I plan to use the money raised here to find a home, find a job, and to get to a position that I can repay all the kindness so many have shown to me and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others. I understand if you cannot give money, but please share my story to help it get maximum reach.
