Hello Everyone!

My name is Tess Ware, and I am currently a nursing student at Metropolitan State University. This coming September 2025, I have an incredible opportunity to travel to Accra, Ghana, as part of a medical mission trip focused on women’s healthcare.

During this trip, I’ll be working alongside other healthcare professionals to assist in delivering babies, provide education to new mothers on breastfeeding, postpartum care, and newborn safety, administer newborn immunizations, and offer direct care to women and infants in underserved communities.

This mission is not only a chance to serve those in need, but it also fulfills the clinical requirements for my OBGYN rotation—an essential part of my nursing education.

Traveling internationally to learn, grow, and give back through nursing is a dream come true, but I can’t do it without your help. Your generous support will go toward travel expenses, accommodations, medical supplies, and educational materials needed for this journey.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring me one step closer to making a real difference in the lives of women and babies in Ghana.
