Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of our family and our sweet Maine Coon kitten Meatloaf. He’s the sweetest little (big) boy, full of love, affection, and goofiness that make him such a special part of our family.

Tragically, Meatloaf recently fractured his right hip jumping off of his cat tree, and while we were keeping him calm and on rest while waiting for a surgical consultation, he suffered another devastating blow—he fractured his left hip, too. Now, he can not walk and is in a lot of pain.

His only option for healing and walking again is bilateral FHO surgery (femoral head ostectomy), which is urgent. We were given a surgical estimate of $8,736.90, which is overwhelming—especially as we’ve just welcomed a newborn baby into our family.

This could not have come at a worse time. We’re doing everything we can to care for both our new baby and our injured kitten, but the financial burden is heavy so we are humbly asking for help. Every cent will go directly to Meatloaf’s surgery bill. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would still mean the world to us!
