The Story

Hi, I’m Courtney — a 33-year-old single mom of two beautiful kids (ages 8 and 10), and I’m currently fighting stage 4 bone and lung cancer.

Every day is a challenge. Between hospital visits, exhaustion, and trying to hold everything together for my kids, I’ve realized that a traditional job simply isn’t an option anymore — even remote work can be too unpredictable with my health. But I refuse to give up on my ability to contribute, create, and build a better future for my family.

That’s why I’m launching The Honeybranch Co., a small handcrafted sign business rooted in love, nature, and storytelling. But this business is just Step One of a much bigger dream:

My dream goes beyond just making signs.

I want to use the profits from The Honeybranch Co. to eventually start a not-for-profit organization that delivers thoughtful, personalized gift baskets to other cancer patients — especially those who feel alone, scared, or forgotten. I know that feeling all too well.

These baskets will include small comforts, emotional support items, and reminders that someone out there sees them. I want to make sure no one fighting this disease ever feels invisible.

But dreams need seeds — and The Honeybranch Co. is the seed. I want this for-profit venture to eventually fund and support that future nonprofit. A portion of my profits will go directly toward building that mission from day one.
