From Betrayal to Hope: Lauren's New Beginning

Hi everyone, my name is Lauren and I’m raising funds because of an unexpected life event I recently experienced.

First, let me start with the backstory. My ex-fiancé and I were together for a little over 4 years, and we met in Virginia Beach. I moved in with him eventually, and after a few years, he took a new job that would require him to be gone a lot. So, he surprised me by putting his house on the market so we could move to Texas and buy a house to be closer to my parents. I sold all of my furniture and most of my personal belongings to prepare for the big move, including my vehicle. He had a work truck, so he decided to trade his truck in for a smaller SUV that would be mine to drive, but of course, it was in his name.

Fast forward to about two weeks ago, my ex-fiancé recently ended things with me out of the blue and kicked me out of the house that we got together here in Texas. Because it’s in his name, I couldn’t fight him on it. I was forced out of the house within a week of him ending things. I have since moved in with my parents temporarily but have no vehicle. I have no office space anymore to run my small business and had to put some of my belongings in a storage unit while I figure out my next move.

Come to find out, he was living a double life and cheating on me with another woman in one of the states he was working in earlier this year. I’ve been left with nothing and do not have the means to get my own place anytime soon, let alone a vehicle. I hate asking for help in this way, but I desperately need all the help I can get right now.
