Last year, our community, our friends and our family helped support our son’s basketball journey, and we are still deeply grateful. Because of all the love and support given to him, JJ made tremendous strides. He became a more confident player on the court, increased his skill set and has been offered many different opportunities to excel moving forward. He was able to train, travel, and grow in ways we couldn’t have imagined. It was this foundation that paid off for him in a major way.

As a sophomore at Bensalem High School, JJ earned a spot on the varsity basketball team. Not only is it a great privilege to make varsity as a sophomore, but he also started every single game and played the most minutes than anyone on the roster, including the seniors. It is his work ethic, discipline and love for the game that has opened new doors for him.

Now, we get to watch him this season step into an even bigger opportunity. JJ has earned a spot on a new, more competitive AAU team — Philly D1 Hope - and will be playing on the PUMA Circuit. This team now presents different challenges for him to face and learn from, will continue to develop his skills, along with opening doors for college exposure and scouts across the country. This is the kind of environment that JJ has been waiting for and working so hard to achieve.

With all of this greatness, these opportunities come with a new set of expenses. This year we have watched and continue to watch him take giant leaps to pursue his dream and take him to the next level. With that being said, we are re-opening this fundraiser for him. This is not a "repeat" fundraiser but is the next step in his journey. All funds raised will help him cover this season's training costs and travel expenses as he sets forth on his next basketball mission and continues to rise to the top.
