I was dealing with a chronic illness that went undiagnosed for nearly 10 years, and most of my energy went into just getting through each day. Things like school, plans, and long-term goals felt almost impossible to even dream about.
In 2020, I finally got a diagnosis. Since then, I’ve spent the past five years learning how to take care of my health in a more stable, sustainable way. Now, I’ve been accepted into a multidisciplinary art program in Barcelona—one that actually fits how I live and create. For the first time, I’ll also have access to specialists for fibromyalgia, which makes this feel like something I can truly commit to, not just attempt.
At 34, this feels like a real turning point. Not just studying art, but being able to show up for my life in a fuller way.
I’m starting with the one-year track, with the option to continue into a second year. My goal of $25,000 will cover tuition and stable housing so I can focus on the program without putting my health at risk.
I’ve done a lot to get myself here. This support would help me take the next step and make this chapter possible. If you feel moved to contribute, or share, it truly would mean the world to me.
Thank you so for being here xx
