From Atlantic to Pacif...passing through Everest!

Hi, I'm Fabio Andolfi and this is my travel!

I started walking a peligrimage to Santiago in 2020 and since then I've never stopped!

After 4 months and 2'300 km of everyday walking (without cheating a meter) I decided to switch to a bycicle and in that moment a question came in my mind: "If I've been able to cross 2 countries by foot, where could I go with a bycicle?!".

I took endless challenges and pushed myself way above my expectation in this journey; I always tried to raise the bar from crossing the Iranian desertes to the conquering many 5'000 meters mountain passes and that attitude has been a huge fount of motivation and made me discover deeply the places, cultures and habits of people I came across during this journey.

After 50'000km cycled and almost 3 years I achieved my life dream, to be in front of the highest mountain of the world and pitch my tent at the Everest base camp, reaching it just by foot and bicycle from my doors house.

I saw how beautiful this world is and, at the same time, how strong human impact is affective this fragile ecosystem.

Now that I discovered a huge passion for cycling(I hate it before this journey), and increased my love for mountains it's time to reconnect with the elements that stole my heart long time ago, the Ocean and the Land down under!

Ciao, sono Fabio Andolfi e questo è il mio viaggio!

Ho iniziato a percorrere un pellegrinaggio verso Santiago nel 2020 e da allora non mi sono più fermata!

Dopo 4 mesi e 2'300 km di cammino quotidiano (senza barare un metro) ho deciso di passare alla bicicletta e in quel momento mi è venuta in mente una domanda: "Se sono riuscito ad attraversare a piedi 2 paesi, dove potrei arrivare in bicicletta?!".

Mi sono buttato in tantissime sfide spingendomi ben oltre le mie aspettative in questo viaggio; dall'attraversare i deserti iraniani alla conquista di numerosi passi di montagna di 5'000 metri ho sempre cercato di alzare l'asticella e questo atteggiamento è stato un'enorme fonte di motivazione e mi ha fatto scoprire profondamente i luoghi, le culture e le abitudini dei popoli che ho incontrato durante questo viaggio.

Dopo 50'000 km pedalati e quasi 3 anni ho realizzato il sogno della mia vita, trovarmi di fronte alla montagna più alta del mondo e piantare la mia tenda al campo base dell'Everest, raggiungendolo semplicemente a piedi e in bicicletta da casa mia.

Ho visto quanto è bello questo mondo e, allo stesso tempo, quanto è forte l'impatto umano su questo fragile ecosistema.

Ora che ho scoperto un'enorme passione per il ciclismo (lo odiavo prima di questo viaggio) e ho aumentato il mio amore per le montagne, è tempo di riconnettermi con gli elementi che mi hanno rubato il cuore molto tempo fa, l'Oceano e l' Australia!
