The past 24 hours have been a nightmare that I still can’t fully put into words. My parents have lost their home — everything they owned — in a devastating house fire.
Standing there, watching the flames tear through the place that held a lifetime of memories, was something I’ll never forget. The home that raised us, that held every photo, every keepsake, every bit of comfort — gone in a few short hours.
Nothing could be saved. Not even the things the fire didn’t touch. The smoke, the smell, the toxic fumes — they seeped into everything. What wasn’t burned was ruined. The walls, the furniture, their clothes… all of it lost. It’s heartbreaking to see them trying to hold it together when I know inside, they’re shattered.
My parents have always been the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. They’ve worked hard their whole lives, and they’ve built everything with love and pride — only to have it taken away in a few short hours. Now they’re trying to rebuild from nothing.
I’m reaching out because they need help to start again — to replace the basics, to find somewhere safe to stay, to begin piecing life back together. Every single bit helps. Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this, it means more to us than words can say.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, your kindness, and your prayers. It’s been an incredibly hard time, but knowing there are people out there who care gives us strength to keep going.
Even if you can’t help financially, please know that your kind words, love, and support mean more than enough. They truly lift us up and remind us we’re not alone.
