Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, my roommates and I recently experienced a devastating electrical fire that started next door and spread to our home. We are all safe, and we are so grateful for the help we've received from the American Red Cross and the Riverside Fire Department.

Unfortunately, the fire hit our specific condo unit the worst, leaving our home unlivable for the next two months. We're asking for support to help us cover our immediate needs while we are displaced. We've had to start from scratch with basic necessities like food, water, toiletries, and clothing.

Luckily, I was not home when this happened, so I have at least a week's worth of clothing.

On a happy note, we have all of our pets and they are safe! They will still need to be professionally groomed because they were exposed to the toxic "fire mush" and residue while hiding. We will also need to find temporary boarding for them for the next two months. If you are able to offer a temporary home for a pet or help with the costs of a professional kennel and grooming, we would be incredibly thankful.

Even a small donation can make a huge difference as we navigate the coming months. We understand that not everyone can contribute financially, and there are other ways to help! If you have the time, we would greatly appreciate assistance with cleaning furniture and appliances once we are able to begin salvage.
