Our beloved hometown, Çanakkale, is currently suffering from devastating wildfires. The place we call home, the very land where we were born, where we’ve dreamed of returning to one day has been ravaged by flames. Our homes, our fields, and our gardens, which were once vibrant with life, have been destroyed.

Many people are facing huge economic losses, including farmers who have lost their land. Countless families have lost their homes, and our cherished green spaces have been burned to the ground. What was once a thriving and peaceful community is now a place of great sorrow.

In the face of this tragedy, we want to do everything we can to help rebuild. That’s why we are contributing to a project where your donations will directly fund the planting of new trees in our homeland. Though recovery will take time, every tree planted is a step toward restoring our environment.

We cannot let Çanakkale face this disaster alone. Please, help us restore our green spaces and rebuild what was lost. You can donate trees through this link. Even if you're unable to contribute financially, please share this message with your network. The more people we reach, the greater the impact we can make together.

With love and gratitude,

Note: Due to the current state of the soil, it will take about 1.5 years before we can plant on the burned land. We ask for your patience and trust in our cause as we work towards recovery. Every donation receipt will be shared with you. We will donate your contribution via the following link: https://www.tema.org.tr/en/raisinglife-canakkale/appreciation-certificate. Donating as little as 5 euros can mean donating 2 trees already!
