Help H.C. Porter Continue To Tell Her Stories
Donation protected
We are so grateful that our boss and favorite artist, H.C. Porter, is alive and well after a devastating vehicle fire that resulted in a total loss of her Chinook and art trailer on Monday, June 23rd.
On her way to the Des Moines Arts Festival, the generator in the back of her RV caught fire, and although she tried to fight the fire, it quickly became too much. Abandoning her laptop (containing her newest and never printed silkscreens), her current original paintings, and countless meaningful and priceless tools and personal items, she sought safety.
As she sat and waited for help, watching her belongings burn, the reality set in of all the handcrafted materials and decades of love and work that were now gone.
Thankfully, her insurance covers most of her personal and business loss with the exception of her Wells Cargo art trailer, gaps in deductibles and unforeseen expenses, including depreciation value of the vehicles lost.
For those asking for a way to financially assist, we are making this GoFundMe page but you are welcomed to purchase on www.hcporter.com, allowing her to give back via her artwork. These donations are graciously welcomed.
We love you, H.C. Porter!
We stand behind you and support you.
