I'm not sure how to begin,because no words can truly capture the heartbreak of watching your world burn but I'm writing this with the hope that compassion and kindness still lives in strangers.My name is Michelle, I am a single mother to a beautiful little girl named Emily and to my fur baby Dazey Mae and a few months ago, our entire lives forever changed in the blink of an eye. A devastating house fire took everything my daughter and I owned—our home, our belongings, and our sense of security. Since then, I’ve been doing my best to pick up the pieces and start over, but unfortunately I've been unsuccessful at doing this on my own.

Right now, I’m homeless and doing everything I can to rebuild. My beloved dog, Dazey, has been by my side through it all. For my daughter’s safety and well-being, I made the incredibly hard decision to have her stay with family until I can provide her with a stable home again. Every day, all I want is to be reunited with her and give her the safe, loving environment she deserves.

I’ve tried to do this all by myself, but I've finally realized that I just cannot do it alone. The road back to stability is long and overwhelming, and I am reaching out for help from my community and the kindness of strangers. Every little bit brings me one step closer to being with my daughter again, under one roof, and giving all of us—including Dazey—the fresh start we so desperately need.
